Yup. There are two solutions to this level (although they're nearly identical, just one uses an immediately obvious mechanic once you have all the pieces, the other uses a mechanic that's less obvious but you'll need to discover to solve later puzzles), but in either case the solution to this room isn't contained entirely in this room.
If that's the room I think it is, your problem is that you only have 4 boxes. Is there a solution to the previous room that doesn't bring a spare box in? Because if there is I didn't find it.
Loved it. I think I may have managed to smuggle an extra box up to the top section on first reaching it, but that didn't help me a lot. Is there a second ending if you can get out the other door at the top? It felt a little beyond me, but also kinda tempting!

Some pressure plates need two boxes. I think that's the first one you encounter that does.

I am completely confused now, at the upper level with 4 boxes and 2 double elevators and 2 single elevators. Really have no clue what to do.

Very curious how! I did a lot of level design contortions to try to make that impossible.

Took me a while to find out that what I thought was a glitch was actually a game mechanic ;)
I think (hope) I found the same thing. I'm stuck on a level, but it seems this will be the saving move for me.
